What the app does

TzedakahBox is a donation facilitation app. Users can add funds to a tray, create or use digital tzedakah boxes, choose curated charity destinations, and review donation activity.

The launch product supports anonymous-first use through a Support ID. Sign-in or account recovery may be hidden or unavailable depending on the build configuration.

How to test without live payments

Reviewers can open the app, view charities, create boxes, archive boxes, inspect donation history, open legal/support pages, and view the Stripe/Apple Pay add-funds flow.

Please do not complete a live payment unless coordinated with the developer. If a test payment path is required, contact support@mitzvahbox.org with "App Review" in the subject line.

Payment flow

Payments are handled through Stripe and Apple Pay where available. The app does not store full credit card numbers. Payment status and provider references may be stored for support, ledger reconciliation, fraud prevention, and refund/dispute handling.

Charity and payout posture

The app uses curated charity destinations during the pilot. Funds are routed through the configured payment, ledger, allocation, and payout workflow before charity distribution. Tax receipts, where available, are issued by receiving charities.
